Requête en annulation contre Devedjian

Le candidat de gauche battu par Patrick Devedjian (UMP) aux législatives dans les Hauts-de-Seine a annoncé mardi le dépôt dans les prochains jours d'une requête en annulation devant le Conseil constitutionnel, estimant que son suppléant n'avait pas le droit de concourir.

Julien Landfried, candidat MRC soutenu par le PS, battu dimanche de 191 voix au second tour dans la 13e circonscription des Hauts-de-Seine, estime que Georges Siffredi, suppléant de Patrick Devedjian, député UMP sortant, n'avait pas le droit de se présenter "étant déjà remplaçant UMP au Sénat". Dans un communiqué, il explique s'appuyer sur l'article LO134 du code électoral, qui stipule qu'"un député, un sénateur ou le remplaçant d'un membre d'une assemblée parlementaire ne peut être remplaçant d'un candidat à l'Assemblée nationale".

Pour Julien Landfried "la confiance des électeurs a été trahie". "Nous demandons l'invalidation du scrutin et la tenue d'une nouvelle élection législative dans la 13e circonscription des Hauts-de-Seine", poursuit le communiqué. Georges Siffredi, par ailleurs maire et conseiller général de Châtenay-Malabry, figurait en troisième position sur la liste des sénatoriales UMP conduite dans les Hauts-de-Seine par Roger Karoutchi, élu en 2011 au même titre qu'Isabelle Debré (2e sur la liste).
